IDH Switzerland is a non-profit association founded in Geneva on May 6, 2007. It was created from a support group (existing since 2000) and from people who have done an internship with IDH Bolivia.

Its mission is to support the activities of IDH Bolivia and to make them known in Switzerland, especially in Geneva.

IDH Switzerland became a member of the Geneva Federation of Cooperation in 2012.

Our partner, IDH Bolivia (Instituto para el desarrollo humano), is mainly active in the region of Cochabamba.

Founded in 1997, IDH is a Bolivian non-profit organization, with the objective of bringing people to integral development, with activities of preventive medicine, environmental defense and human rights in Bolivia.

IDH Bolivia is a civil society organization composed of a committed interdisciplinary team, which has as its basis education to bring about the development of society.
