Created in October 2023, the Pays du Mont-Blanc Eco-citizen Institute for Environmental Research and Action is a participatory research center with a triple objective:

To develop independent scientific knowledge on air, water and soil pollution and pollutants, and their effects on health.
To share this scientific knowledge in a transparent and educational way with everyone.
Propose concrete solutions to improve the health and environmental status of the region.

Organized as an association under the French law of 1901, the institute is made up of different colleges: Associations, Researchers, Elected representatives, Young people, Companies, Experts, Residents and Health practitioners. It also has a Board of Directors, a Scientific Council, and a forum for direct exchange with citizens on local issues.
