The Womanity Foundation (more commonly known as "Womanity") is an independent private foundation founded in 2005 by French-Swiss entrepreneur and philanthropist Yann Borgstedt1,2,3. It is committed to empowering women and girls so that they can shape their futures and accelerate progress in their communities.

Womanity collaborates with businesses, social entrepreneurs and civil society organizations to drive meaningful impact through innovation, collaboration, scaling and replication. These four strategic areas have been identified as the most effective measures to accelerate the empowerment of girls and women.
