Les séances d'intervision s’adressent aux professionnels et professionnelles de la santé, notamment des psychiatres, des psychologues mais également des médecins d’autres spécialités confrontées, dans le cadre institutionnel ou privé, à la prise en charge clinique de patientes et de patients souffrant de troubles psychotraumatiques.
Chacune de ces réunions offre une opportunité précieuse de partager des connaissances et de présenter les dernières avancées scientifiques dans le domaine de la psychotraumatologie. Elles sont aussi l'occasion idéale de se réunir, d'échanger et de discuter autour de cas cliniques dans un environnement propice à l'apprentissage et à la croissance professionnelle.
The celebration of the 25 Years of the Geneva Environment Network – the pivotal platform of international Geneva dedicated to GENerating participation and engagement for increased collaboration among stakeholders in the fight against the triple planetary crisis – started with a series of events exploring and highlighting frameworks and partnerships that can strengthen environmental governance. It will conclude with a closing ceremony on 20 January 2025. This approach aims to create a meaningful and impactful celebration, inspiring renewed commitment to environmental governance and collaborative action.
Human Rights Council resolution 50/13, requested the Office of the High Commissioner to organize a workshop on the human rights dimension of access to medicines, vaccines and other health products in the context of the right of everyone to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health. This workshop is the third out of three workshops that will inform the comprehensive report on the subject matter to be presented to the Human Rights Council at the fifty-ninth session in June 2025. It will focus on new developments in this area.

On Tuesday, 28 January 2025, the Data Protection Day will take place again, this time on the topic of ‘AI beyond the hype - Opportunities and challenges for data protection’.
In 2023 we already presented the subject of 'Artificial Intelligence and Personal Data', and the participants had requested a follow-up event. In view of the increasing spread and acceptance of generative AI, there is indeed a great need for clarification when it comes to the data protection aspects of these technologies.
Two interesting talks are waiting for you to familiarise you with the functioning of AI systems and to shed a light on challenges and privacy risks when using them.
Furthermore, experts from CERN, EMBL and EPO will present practical applications of AI systems - be it in the domain of productivity or for research purposes - and the benefits they generate in their organisations.

The Executive Board decided that its 156th session should be convened on Monday, 3 February 2025, at WHO headquarters, Geneva, and should close no later than Tuesday, 4 February 2025. The Board further decided that the Programme, Budget and Administration Committee of the Executive Board should hold its forty-first meeting from Wednesday to Friday, 22–24 January 2025, at WHO headquarters. Should any limitations to physical meetings preclude the holding of these meetings in person, adjustments to the modalities should be made by the Executive Board or, exceptionally, by the Officers of the Board, in consultation with the Director-General. The Board further decided that the Standing Committee on Health Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response should hold its fifth meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3 and 4 September 2024, and its sixth meeting on Wednesday and Thursday, 16 and 17 April 2025.

The World Health Organization (WHO) held its first global meeting on skin-related neglected tropical diseases (skin NTDs) on 27–31 March 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland. This meeting has built the foundation and momentum for the second global meeting to be held on 24–26 March 2025. The event demonstrates the collective commitment of the global skin-NTD community to achieving a key objective of the NTD road map: integration.
The road map emphasizes three critical shifts in approaches to overcoming NTDs – accelerating programmatic action; intensifying cross-cutting approaches; and changing operating models and culture to facilitate country ownership – to guide the implementation of activities. Integration, a key cross-cutting approach, is crucial for this meeting and within the skin NTD framework, and will contribute to strengthening health systems.
The meeting will bring together diverse experts across 13 different NTDs.1 Other related dermatological conditions will also be considered, as in the previous gathering. This inclusive approach highlights the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure no one is left behind.

Other key topics scheduled for discussion encompass the WHO Academy and NTD online courses. These subjects reflect ongoing advancements and challenges in the field, ensuring the meeting remains relevant and forward-thinking.

The meeting of the 25th WHO Expert Committee on the Selection and Use of Essential Medicines will take place from 7 to 11 April 2025 at WHO Headquarters in Geneva. The purpose of the meeting will be to revise and update the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines (EML) and the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines for Children (EMLc).
