World Vision International is an international evangelical Christian humanitarian organization founded on September 22, 1950 by Robert Pierce. It has programs in 100 countries around the world. Its international headquarters are in London, United Kingdom.

World Vision’s approach to ending violence against children protects them today and empowers them for tomorrow. World Vision does this by equipping them, their communities, and local partners with the tools to address the root causes of violence against children.

World Vision’s focus is on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. World Vision helps children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by Christian faith.

World Vision’s Geneva office works to influence United Nations programmes and specialized agencies, as well as other decision-makers based in the city, in order to connect policy with practice to achieve the fulfilment of the rights of the most vulnerable children of this world.
