Pulse encourages and supports innovative, high-potential projects from the six HES-SO Geneva universities, thereby contributing to the economic development of the Geneva region.
Pulse is aimed at students, assistants, staff and alumni of the six HES-SO Geneva schools - HEPIA, HEG, HEAD, HEM, HEdS, HETS.
The incubation programme has two phases:
- Impulse (6 months): For those who are motivated to develop their idea by testing it with the market and developing the initial foundations of their entrepreneurial project. In a structured setting, accompanied by professional coaches, the im-pulsé-e-s take part in themed workshops and inspirational conferences, and use this first six-month period to validate their value proposition. This phase qualifies them for the Coup de Pulse prize.
- Propulsion (6-12 months): Once the foundations of their entrepreneurial project have been laid, still supported by coaches and benefiting from the expertise of professionals from a variety of fields, pro-pulsed students have two semesters to develop their prototypes, build a solid business plan and approach their first customers. This phase gives them access to two major prizes, the Raiffeisen Prize for Sustainability and the GENILEM HES-SO Geneva Prize. At the end of the programme, the young entrepreneurs are ready to face the reality of the market.
