AVVEC, formerly known as Solidarité Femmes, is a non-profit organization founded in 1977. Its mission is to provide psychosocial and therapeutic support to women and men who are victims of domestic violence, as well as to their children, while raising awareness among the public and professionals about this issue. 

Anyone affected by domestic violence can seek help from the organization, regardless of their status or affiliation with any particular group. AVVEC's multidisciplinary team consists of psychologist-psychotherapists and educators. 

The association also regularly conducts targeted campaigns using various media channels. Additionally, it collaborates with a wide range of professionals and contributes to academic training programs.
